About The Role
Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will provide leadership to the business, with a focus on increasing business performance across the company through the development and implementation of strategic objectives as the company transitions from build to fully operational and delivering value to shareholders and the community.

About the Company
Central Plains Water Limited (CPWL), is the largest irrigation scheme in the South Island, with an estimated value of $442 million. The scheme currently supplies irrigation to approximately 45,000 hectares and has the consented potential to deliver sustainable irrigation to 63,000 hectares of land between the Rakaia and Waimakariri Rivers. Operated by Central Plains Water Ltd (CPWL), the scheme is owned by 380 farmer shareholders and operates on co-operative principles. Shareholders include dairy, sheep and beef, arable and vegetable farmers. Every farmer maintains commitment to a farm environment plan regime.
