Reporting to the Chief Executive and an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team, the role will create and execute a clear vision and strategy for the payroll function. In managing this function for six major entities, the position will liaise closely with clients to determine payroll strategy and ensure account management provides a superior customer experience. To ensure practices are leading-edge, the General Manager will lead innovation in developing a true ‘centre of excellence’.
Ideally candidates should possess at least 15 years’ experience in managing/leading a payroll function. Much of this should have been in large and complex organisations. Superior stakeholder management and relational skills are central to the role, as is demonstrated expertise in leading business practice improvement and building high performing and motivated teams. A passion for delivering beyond customer expectations, a highly developed project management skillset and a track record of very successful collaborative endeavour complement the competencies required.
