Andrea joined Sheffield in 2010 and has more than 20 years experience as a consultant and facilitator.
Andrea has a twenty-plus-year track record of success as a consultant and facilitator across an extensive range of strategic and operational Human Resources and Organisation Development. Andrea specialises in Executive Search and Recruitment of CEO’s, Senior Leaders, Principals and Directors, Learning and Development, Leadership and Team Development, 360-degree surveys, CEO and Board Reviews, Talent Management, Change and Transition Management, Workforce Planning, Leadership Coaching and Career Development.
As an experienced consultant, Andrea uses her expertise to assist clients in creating productive and sustainable work environments that value relationship-building, encourage creativity, diversity, effective leadership and teams, and continuous learning. As an experienced facilitator she designs and delivers strategies that achieve organisational, business and individual outcomes, effectively manages engagement of staff in the process, and coaches managers to build their capability in effective people management. Her work is enhanced by her ability to build long-term relationships with clients, deeply understanding their business and needs.
Andrea’s consulting experience has been gained across a wide range of client groups in Federal, State and Local Government in Australia, the health sector, private organisations, professional associations, and non-government organisations. Andrea’s career background includes managing and leading Organisation Development services, project managing corporate OD/HR projects, and as Principal Consultant for Brisbane City Council, where Andrea worked with multidisciplinary teams to build workforce capability. On her return to New Zealand, Andrea has worked latterly as a Senior Human Resource Advisor in the College of Education, University of Canterbury. Since joining Sheffield, Andrea works with clients across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.?
