The Group Manager – Community Infrastructure & Development provides strategic and operational leadership across the infrastructure and development portfolios - Roading, 3 Waters (drinking water, wastewater and stormwater), Capital Works, Consenting and Environmental Waste. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team this role will contribute to visionary long-term infrastructure planning and services. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Group Manager will lead Council in delivering on the infrastructure aspects of our Long Term Plan.

What we expect from you
You will have deep expertise in successfully enabling and leading high performing teams. Your commercial acumen will reflect an understanding of how to lead in contexts of change whilst balancing budget, risk, and contractual complexities.
You will be an authentic and values lead leader. You cultivate and manage successful relationships – particularly with community, stakeholders, and partners. You’ll have experience leading change and enduring continuous improvement. Most importantly, you’ll understand and demonstrate a clear passion for working with others to solve problems and deliver outcomes.
Although not a strict requirement, you will likely have experience in asset, contract, or project management.
