About The Company:
Rossendale Wines Limited is a family-owned winery based in Tai Tapu, about 20 minutes from Christchurch City. 98% of their trade is international under export brands such as Cottesbrook and Governors Bay. They maintain a very small Cellar Door for local sales and occasional tourists, and a commission agent manages their local supermarket trade.
About The Role:
The Export Planner for Rossendale Wines is responsible for receiving, co-coordinating and dispatching wine orders to its international customers, primarily based in the United States with some customers also in Canada, Asia and the United Kingdom.
In addition to managing the end-to-end export process, the Export Planner will also undertake other duties to support the small Rossendale Wines team, including receiving and dispatching local orders, accounts receivable, stocktake, audits and wine tastings via the Cellar Door.
Skills & Experience:
It is essential that the successful candidate is highly experienced with managing the export process and associated documentation.
Other key skills or experience you will have include:
- Significant previous experience in an export role
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
- The ability to follow process and work with efficiency
- Experience with accounts processes
- A track record of high-quality customer service
- A self-starter who takes on a task without being asked
- Knowledge or experience of logistics
- Experience working for a winery would be advantageous
