Sheffield South Island thoroughly enjoyed working with the Board from Streamliners in their recent appointment of Stella Ward as the company’s new Chief Executive.
This marks an exciting transition for the organisation in order to recruit a new leader with the skills and experience for the next phase of growth. Stella’s knowledge of health systems, leadership skills, focus on delivery, and digital experience are ideal attributes to ensure Streamliners delivers the innovation and performance needed by the HealthPathways Community now and well into the future.
Streamliners was founded by Emma Harding and Ian Anderson as a two-person business, with the aim of supporting front line workers in a range of industries to access the information they needed “on the job” to get on with the task immediately in front of them. That led to the formation of HealthPathways, an online guidance tool used by tens of thousands of front line clinicians daily.
Considered one of New Zealand’s most highly visible and well regarded digital health leaders, Stella Ward has held multiple executive leadership roles within the public sector, which includes a ten year stint at the Canterbury District Health Board as Executive Director Allied Health and then Chief Digital Officer. Most recently, she has been leading the Pointnext Sales and Services team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise NZ.
We were thrilled to be part of this transitional journey for the company and supporting them with this recruitment process. Stella will make an excellent contribution to the company and we wish her all the very best in her role as Chief Executive.
