Philippa’s role as Senior Consultant is focussed on building enduring, trusted relationships with clients and candidates.
Philippa has worked on Executive search roles across Aotearoa and Australia and is able to leverage her 20 years of experience in the public sector to help clients and candidates find their perfect match.
Before transitioning to Search and Selection recruitment, Philippa was the Head of Advisory in the Customer and Community Services Directorate at Auckland Council. In this role, she was the expert in best practice advice provision to elected members. Philippa supported numerous transformation and change projects, specialised in political navigation, relationship/stakeholder management and communication, and instigated many programmes of work around integration of services and advice.
Philippa’s unique perspective, shaped by her lived experience in large-scale operational environments, informs her approach to recruitment. Her extensive public sector insight has influenced her Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) lens, driving her to support organisations in improving DE&I through targeted recruitment strategies focused on sourcing diverse candidates.
