With significant challenge and change ahead there is a focus on giving effect to the National Policy Statement on Freshwater Management, ensuring the planning framework is fit for purpose, along with an ever-heightening focus on sustainable environmental management.
Recent transformational change within the organisation is enabling a focus on how they work together and improve service to their communities. There are some big targets to reach, and now they need the right people, in the right roles, to help them get there. Reporting to the Manager Consents, this role will support and mentor a team of Consents Officers, providing consenting services to stakeholders across the Otago region.
