New Head of Knox College appointed

Congratulations to Caroline Hepburn-Doole on her appointment as the new Head of Knox College, one of the oldest and best-known residential colleges at the University of Otago.

Caroline will be the first female Head of Knox College in the College’s 118-year history.

As their ninth Head of College, Caroline brings an innovative vision for how the College may continue to evolve and flourish, and, having served as Deputy Master since 2016, she also provides a sense of continuity to the history and ethos of the College.

Caroline has also played an instrumental role in strengthening the College’s pastoral care and academic support systems, advancing the process of cultural change.  

It was an honour to have partnered with the Board of Knox and Salmond Colleges on this appointment and we wish Caroline every success in her new role.
