This important role is located within the School of Accounting, Finance & Economics and will play a central role in shaping future-focused qualifications in banking and financial technology at all academic levels.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Banking, Finance, Financial Technology, or related disciplines, and will demonstrate a commitment to research, teaching, and supervision that aligns with the School’s strategy and its dedication to leadership through innovation. A flexible and positive approach, adaptability in new and changing situations, and a proactive attitude towards innovation are essential qualities.
You will have a proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team, enhance and maintain collegial relationships, and act as an academic leader for Financial Technology programmes. A commitment to a culture of openness, flexibility, and cooperation is crucial to achieving excellence in academic programmes, research, and service. The ability to maintain a professional approach under pressure and relate effectively to students and staff from diverse backgrounds is also essential.
