International Women’s Day 2025

International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the leaders, changemakers, and trailblazers shaping Aotearoa’s past and future. At Sheffield, we don’t just talk about gender equity—we act on it.

For 3 years, over 50% of our senior executive and governance appointments have been women, a reflection of our deep commitment to fostering diverse, inclusive leadership across all sectors.

Our team is regularly recognised for being best in class in supporting women in governance and advocating for greater representation and helping shape the careers of female leaders at the highest levels. Executive Director Wellington, Katy Anquetil, is a thought leader in unconscious bias and the interconnectedness between diversity in leadership and organisational performance. She is proud to have the opportunity to support organisations who share similar values to help promote gender diversity such as Women on Boards and the Ministry for Women.

We know that leadership diversity drives better outcomes—for organisations, communities, and the economy. But real change happens when commitment turns into action. That’s why we’ll continue to champion the next generation of female leaders. Let’s keep raising the bar.
