Rebecca comes to Mountainview High School from Wellington where she has been Deputy Principal at Wellington East Girls’ College. After gaining her teaching qualification Rebecca has taught in both Japan and England, where she was Assistant Principal of a large 4000 student College, before returning back to New Zealand at the end of 2023.

Rebecca comments “I am exceptionally honoured to have been appointed Principal of MVHS and wish to thank Sheffield and the MVHS Board for making the process thorough and enjoyable. I am excited to be moving down to Timaru from Wellington, and I look forward to getting to know the students, staff and community.  It is clear that there is something special about MVHS and I can't wait to lead the school.”
