Sheffield South Island were delighted to partner again with Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust and New Zealand Flying Doctor Service in the appointment of their new Chief Executive, Anton Drazevic
Anton has a firm belief in the life saving work that supports the community and is looking forward to the opportunity to join CWCART and the invaluable life saving work that they do. Anton first experienced the rescue helicopter service 16 years ago, when a family member was rescued following a helicopter accident.
“That experience has stayed with me, and it’s a big part of why I’m so energised to lead the Trusts today,” Anton says.
He has a strong people leadership focus, is experienced in complex commercial environments including being well versed in developing fundraising campaigns while developing and strengthening team culture. Anton understands the power of community and partnerships that keep the air recue and ambulance service in the air.
Anton’s highly collaborative approach and strong people skills, along with his energetic and engaging style will ensure CWCART is in excellent hands for their next important chapter. The service is also about to unveil its final H145 rescue helicopter.
Congratulations Anton, we wish you all the very best in your new role.
