Douglas has a strong background in the electricity and power sectors business having most recently worked as the Energy Solutions Lead at Orion New Zealand. His background spans transmission and distribution businesses, engineering consultancy with strong tendering and pricing credentials, and a clear understanding of what commercial management in a regulated EDB environment requires.

Moving to New Zealand from Scotland several years ago, Douglas was the Southwest Scotland Programme Commercial Manager at Scottish Power and has worked at both Beca and Orion NZ.
