Sheffield South Island were delighted to partner with both Hurunui and Kaikoura District Councils to jointly appoint Lee Babe, Ross Pickworth and Karl Smith to the board of the new council-controlled water organisation.
With all three directors sharing between them vast years of governance experience, this new council controlled entity will be in excellent hands.
Lee brings a strong contracting career as former CEO of Nelmac, and currently sits an Independent Director for Network Tasman Ltd.
Ross has a background in engineering and currently a director on a number of commercial boards including Network Tasman, Westroads Ltd and Ashburton Contracting Ltd.
Karl brings many years’ experience in finance, is a director to EA Networks, AG Foley Ltd and was previously CEO of Gough Group.
