Sue values local community and having previously worked at Greater Wellington Regional Council prefers to be where there can be direct impact in her role and engagement with community. Most recently Sue has been with GNZ Science/Earth Sciences NZ and is keen to be back working at a local level.

Understanding the interconnectedness of business units in delivering long-term plans, Sue brings to her work an energy and engagement level which helps increase the team culture and with a solid understanding of project management, systems thinking and governance is well placed for this role.

Spanning the full lifecycle of Long-Term and Annual Planning, from the legislation that shapes policy and plans, through to delivering the infrastructure programme, the team will make strong foundations. Creating transparent and robust funding mechanisms, sustainable rates and revenue, and managing enterprise assets to deliver the best outcomes for the community.
