Sheffield South Island was delighted to work with Halswell Residential College in the appointment of their new Tumuaki recently. Congratulations to Stephen Evans who was the successful candidate and will take up the position in September.
Stephen comes to Halswell Residential College most recently from Hōhepa in Napier.
He began his teaching career in Ōtautahi nearly twenty-five years ago at both Allenvale and Ferndale Schools, following the earthquakes Stephen relocated to Napier.
With strong communication skills and an ability to problem solve creatively and innovate, Stephen’s enthusiastic, honest and passion for education sees him as a great fit for this role.
