Sheffield was delighted to support Presbyterian Support Southland in their recent appointment of Matt Russell as their new Chief Executive.

Matt comes to Presbyterian Support from Southland District Council as General Manager Infrastructure & Environmental Services. With a background in Engineering and Project Management, Matt enjoys being involved in an organisation which is focussed on delivering community outcomes which is a strong fit to his personal values.  Equally, he is motivated by a role which provides both challenges and variety and adds value to the community by undertaking meaningful and rewarding work.

Motivated by its Christian heritage, PSS works for positive change, strong families and healthy communities, and endeavours to act with faith, compassion, respect, integrity, courage and independence. Matt is looking forward to being able to combine his previous experience with the challenges this role will bring, and ensuring ensuring that its residential, community and Family Works health, social and administration services are well provided.
