This year's keynote line-up was exceptional and created many meaningful conversations. Puna Wano-Bryant opened with a powerful call to action around the role of local government into the future and the profound impact of resistance, resilience and reconciliation. Economists, community strategists, governance leaders and change leaders, all speaking directly to the issues shaping the sector today and the leadership it will need going forward.

This year's conferenced highlighted the critical and daily work the sector in developing high-trust partnership with their communities and the evolving and challenging economic governance and sector landscape. But at the centre of it all was the mahi and leadership of local government and its partners. These themes unsurprisingly are all at the forefront of the conversations we have with councils, elected members and boards every day.
