Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council is the regulatory authority responsible for the regulation of paramedics. Established in 2020, its primary function is to protect our health and safety by ensuring paramedics are fit to practise. It does this by providing a range of statutory functions as laid out in the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCA Act). As a regulatory authority, independent from the Crown, our partnership with iwi and Māori underpins our principles and everything we do.

Currently Te Kaunihera Manapou is seeking a Registration Coordinator to support the GM/Registrar in administering the HPCA Act, and running the Board’s operations.

Integrity, fairness and accountability are the hallmarks of this secretariat, and will be reflected in all our employees’ activities.

Candidates for this role will ideally have a registry/regulatory background and experience working within a legislative framework.  Exceptional communication – both written and verbal - is essential, as are strong administration skills and a collaborative and warm approach to teamwork.
