Electricity Invercargill Ltd (EIL) is an electricity distribution company, owning the electricity network assets in Invercargill City and the Bluff township area, and continues to be ranked by the Commerce Commission as one of the most efficiently operated networks in NZ. With over 17,500 consumers and a network consisting of over 665km of lines and cables, EIL contracts PowerNet to manage the network assets on its behalf.
On behalf of the Shareholder, Invercargill City Holdings Limited, we invite applications for the appointment of 2 independent Directors to the Board of Electricity Invercargill Ltd.
Our client has a strong preference to appoint candidates who reside in Invercargill or Southland. They will also consider applicants from neighbouring areas of Otago and Central Otago.
For one vacancy we seek candidates who can point to strong commercial contract management experience.
For the second vacancy our client would like to appoint a person with relevant health and safety leadership experience.
Ideally, you will have current governance experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development as a director.
