With the Farm Manager moving on after 12 years of loyal service, Mount Algidus Station is looking for an experienced farm manager to lead the team of staff and manage the farm business sustainably. You will:
- Develop a management plan and oversee all farm activities
- Ensure relevant legislation, farm policies and reporting procedures are adhered to
- Be responsible for effective financial, asset, H&S and stock management practices
- Ensure work is performed to a high standard, staff feel happy and safe in their work and are proud to be a part of the business
- Be known for having a collaborative style, working closely with the owner and Farm Consultant.
Candidates of interest will have experience with livestock breeding and finishing systems and may have had some involvement in high country farming. This is a rare opportunity for a progressive person to be involved with the management and future development of a large scale property. Farm and/or administrative work is available for the Managers partner. The salary package will include the following benefits:
