With its vision “Healthy people… healthy workforce… healthy community” – Kia piki te ora o ngā tāngata katoa, Nelson Bays Primary Health - Hauora Matua ki Te Tai Aorere (NBPH) promotes and supports quality community health services, with an emphasis on keeping people healthy.
NBPH leads and coordinates a range of primary and community health care services through its contracted general practices and other primary providers e.g. Māori Providers, NGOs, volunteer organisations and territorial authorities in the delivery of Te Pae Tata. The organisation also manages Golden Bay Community Health and co-owns the Medical and Injury Centre in Nelson for urgent care. About The Role:
As Executive Support Officer you will provide high level support to the NBPH Board and Executive Team, including the Chief Executive.
You will be responsible for Board and Committee Secretary functions, coordination of key organisational processes, records and risk functions and NBPH organisational reporting. The role facilitates NBPH website, social media platforms and branding and communications. Special project work will provide challenge and variety, responding to the needs of executives and the Board.
Skills & Experience:
As the successful candidate, you will be experienced in providing a high standard of Executive Support and/or Board Secretariat duties with strengths in facilitating effective working relationships with a diverse range of people in the workplace, stakeholders and across the community. You will approach the role with complete confidentiality, actioning with initiative, tact, integrity and maturity.
In addition, you will have:
- Advanced computer literacy skills to produce professional documents with accuracy, using AI appropriately to improve efficiency.
- Initiative and innovation, anticipating workflow and support needs and applying creative solutions.
- Excellent time management and a disciplined approach to establishing and following work priorities.
- Exceptional coordination and administration skills and be highly organised.
- Strong attention to detail, successfully following a task through to completion.
- Energy and motivation, demonstrating flair and initiative.
- A sense of humour.
Experience and knowledge of systems within the health sector would be an advantage.
