About the Role:

A new role, the National Operations Manager reports to the GM Supply Chain - Oceania, and holds national accountability for processing and distribution operations.

Overseeing a team of approximately 100 staff across eight sites, you will set clear national standards, drive efficiencies and results, and bring a disciplined approach to operations. You will own the capital programme from concept to completion, standardise processes, and deliver exceptional service to customers.

At the heart of this role is inspiring and leading a high performing team, creating a culture of continuous improvement.


Skills & Experience:

This is a role for a seasoned operations leader who can draw on depth of experience from day one. As the ideal candidate, you will bring:

  • A minimum of ten years’ experience leading multi-site operations in a processing or manufacturing environment (agricultural, industrial or related sectors preferred).
  • Proven capability running capital projects independently – from scoping and business case through to execution and review.
  • Demonstrated success building performance-driven cultures, using data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Strong commercial acumen able to ROI on capital investment, and make sound financial decisions in a complex operational context.
  • Experience leading and implementing change able to engage and bring teams along with you.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels and build strong relationships across geographically dispersed teams.
  • A genuine commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, through visible leadership and consistent modelling of safe work practices.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Agriculture or a related field is preferred.
