Simon has extensive experience in the health sector having previously worked in DHB’s and NGO’s and brings to Southern Eye Specialists a patient focused balance with business sustainability.

His most recent role has been as Chief Executive Officer of Age Concern Canterbury, so he is well equipped to bring with him the skills from managing all parts of an organisation. He has high integrity and honesty with very strong people leadership skills. Simon is one to bring people with him on the journey and when implementing change always likes to involve people, listen to the ideas and need for change, and to engage around rationale.
