Sheffield Search has been privileged to support Tauranga City Council in the reappointment of Marty Grenfell as Chief Executive.
Marty was initially appointed CEO of Tauranga City Council in September 2018, after after successfully leading Whakatane District Council for seven years. He has nearly 40 years of public service experience.
Tauranga City Council Commission Chair, Anne Tolley, has announced the reappointment of Chief Executive, Marty Grenfell, for a period of five years, effective as from Monday, 4 September 2023.
Tolley says the Commission undertook a full employment process and while the calibre of the applicants was impressive, it did serve to: “highlight Mr. Grenfell’s strengths and the outstanding contribution he has made to the organisation and community”.
