Sheffield South Island was delighted to work with Waihi School again in their appointment for a new Headmaster recently. Congratulations to Gareth Wood who was the successful candidate.
Gareth comes to Waihi from Huntley School where he has been the Deputy Headmaster for the last 10 years at New Zealand’s oldest and largest Preparatory School.
With vast experience and passion for education, Gareth has also previously taught in the UK. He has extensive experience in leadership and a genuine care for students, having also been the Head of Pastoral Care at Huntley.
Wishing you every success in this role Gareth as you take on the challenge and continue the great work and community spirit of Waihi School.
