Sheffield enjoyed partnering again with UniMed recently in the appointment of Justine Gilliland as a Non-Executive Director to join their board.
Justine brings to UniMed a vast experience in governance and leadership. She currently sits on the board of ESR Ltd, Tui Ora, Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research, and several other notable organisations with various key leadership committee roles within these.
Justine is the former Chief Executive of Venture Taranaki and was Deputy Director-General Sector Partnerships and Programmes at the Ministry for Primary Industries. Before joining MPI, Justine led the Canterbury Earthquakes Royal Commission of Inquiry, and has held a range of high-profile senior management positions across communications, strategy and policy.
Justine has a passion for organisational leadership and culture, innovation, stakeholder relations and communications, investment, strategy and business growth. She has also been admitted as barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
