About The Role:
The Business Systems Manager leads the business systems team and is responsible for delivering the applications and software that are critical to achieving Enviro NZ’s systems strategy. Reporting to the Head of Technology, the role is a key part of the Technology Leadership Team, ensuring technology enables the delivery of sustainable solutions to customers and the community, the core purpose of Enviro NZ.
The role will:
- Manage 2nd and 3rd level support of all applications and software systems.
- Set standards for technical documentation, business process mapping and writing business cases and CAPEX requests for projects as required.
- Keep abreast of new technologies in software and applications and be able to articulate these both to the business and senior management.
- Successfully manage projects to meet business requirements, keeping them on time, in scope and in budget.
- Lead and manage the direction of the team and their support roles to the business consists by guiding, mentoring and coaching employees, each with their own general business analyst skill as well as specific technical specialities.
Creating a technical business analyst practice, through building business partnerships, stakeholder engagement and engaging with staff to create buy-in are key to success in this role. The role skilfully leads the team to provide technical business analyst advice.
Skills & Experience:
- A relevant degree, diploma or certificate relating to a role as a Business Analyst, Finance, Business Systems or IT.
- Excellent Project Management skills.
- Experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience with D365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience in leading a team of professionals, motivating, coaching and growing their capability.
- Experience with Business Process mapping, and technical specification and Business case writing.
- A track record of success identifying improvements and solving problems to support business operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and able to adjust to a constantly changing environment, working across teams and across the business.
- A learning mindset, curious, comfortable challenging the status quo and constantly looking at what’s possible.
- Ability to collaborate with others and build cross-team relationships.

Experience with D365 CRM (Sales/CS/Marketing) would be an advantage.
