About the Role
MOVe Logistics is seeking an experienced Independent Director to join its board at a pivotal point in the company's consolidation and growth. This is a substantive governance role for someone who brings deep financial literacy and audit leadership experience, ideally from within a listed company environment. The successful candidate will have the capability to Chair the Audit and Risk Committee, with committee assignments confirmed following appointment. Beyond committee responsibilities, you will contribute to a skilled and collegial board providing strategic oversight of a business that is operationally complex, commercially dynamic and technology-led.
What the board is looking for
- Demonstrated experience chairing or serving on audit and risk committees, preferably in a listed company context;
- Strong financial acumen and literacy at board level;
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks;
- Exposure to mergers, acquisitions or capital markets;
- An understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainability governance;
- Experience in, or strong affinity with, freight, logistics, transport, or similarly asset-intensive industries.

Time commitment
Board meetings are held approximately nine times a year, a mix of in-person full-day sessions (which include committee meetings) and half-day online meetings.
