What inspired you be involved in Executive Search and Selection?

To be able to make a positive impact on peoples lives, assisting them progress with their careers and seeing the impact that they make in the organisations that they work for. Making these connections between human capability and organisational ambition never grows old.

What should your clients know about you?

That I take my work very seriously but I don’t take myself too seriously. While the Search for a senior executive is important work, that doesn’t mean that it can’t be an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Outside of your professional work, what is your greatest acheivement?

Coaching my daughters cricket team to a league win, leading to a trophy presentation at Eden Park. I think that’s quite an achievement for a Scotsman that never played cricket!
